What is Microblading?
Microblading (or 'eyebrow embroidery') has been around for many years, starting its journey with the Egyptians. This manual technique is widely used in Asia, Russia and Eastern Europe and is relatively new to the UK.
It is considered to be semi-permanent, as we use a tiny blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis using a specially designed hand piece. A microblading treatment can last for up to 18months.
By using this effective manual tool, we are able to 'tailor make' your individual brows using realistic looking hair strokes that appear crisp and very fine.
This method is perfect for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. the results are natural, flawless looking eyebrows with hair-like strokes, regardlesss of the amount of hair present.
What do I need to know?
You will need a patch test at least 24hrs beforehand.
On treatment day, an anaesthetic cream is applied to maximise your comfort. The treatment is not painful but does involve scratching the surface of the skin so that we can implant the pigment for a long lasting effect.
Your new brows will be drawn on with pencil to ensure you are happy before we start the procedure. once you are happy, we mix your individiul pigment and then create your new beautiful brows in tiny, hair like strokes. The procedure will take approximately one hour, however we ask to try to leave a full two hours free so that necessary paperwork can be completed.
Aftercare?
An aftercare advice sheet will be given to you so you can keep those new brows in tip top condition
There is a top up which usually takes place 4-6 weeks after and is a crucial element in your treatment, at this appointment we will assess the colour and shape of your new fabulous brows.
